This month we added four new studies to the Best Practice Database, the research repository for Best Practices, LLC. This month's new studies explore two important functions within pharma: Medical Affairs and Competitive Intelligence. The two studies involving Medical Affairs examine how this role is creating value with its interactions with external groups; the two Competitive Intelligence studies looks at a variety of topics affecting this role. The Medical Affairs studies review the role, activities and tools this function uses to interact with payers, advocacy groups and guidelines organizations. One of the Competitive Intelligence studies reviews current approaches to structure, roles and reporting lines; the second CI study focuses on activities, budget and capabilities.

Best Practices, LLC performed this research study to probe Medical Affairs' roles, tools, effectiveness and success metrics in serving payer groups.
