AUGUST 2019 Research Alert

This month we added four new studies to the Best Practice Database, the research repository for Best Practices, LLC. This month's new studies involve the Medical Affairs function and its role in two critical - and overlapping - areas: field-based medical teams and launch. The first two studies, which focus on the CNS therapeutic area, revolve around the theme of improving the impact of field medical teams. Topical areas include staffing and resourcing, thought leader engagement and managing field activities and productivity levels. The remaining two new studies are focused on Medical Affairs and launch; specifically these studies examine the function's role and activities as well as the timeline, resources and preparedness metrics that Medical Affairs leaders are using to maximize their impact on launch.
