This month we added four new studies to the Best Practice Database, the research repository for Best Practices, LLC. Two of the new studies examine key aspects of optimizing the Managed Markets function to be effective in the current marketplace. The remaining two studies deliver benchmarks and insights on serving emerging provider networks such as ACOs and IDNs. Topics addressed in the Managed Markets studies include budgets, structures, compensation and staffing. Meanwhile, the ACO/IDN research examines the internal coordination, resources, and sales models that effectively serve provider networks like ACOs and ICNs.
